Here’s what you need to do to save a code sample to a text file:
When you experience the hang in the program (beachball)
1. Open the activity monitor (Spotlight or Applications/Utilities)
2. Type Forklift in the Filter. The line probably says Not Responding
3. Double click the line – this opens a dialogue for the process.
4. Click Sample
5. Save the output (upper righthand corner) to a file
